Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Baddies Abroad is operated by REPDBYLOVE, a business based in Ontario, Canada ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through baddiesabroad.ca, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It's written to meet Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA) and Quebec's privacy law (Law 25).

1. Who is responsible for your information

Our Privacy Officer is Ms. M. Daniel, REPDBYLOVE. You can reach her at info@repdbylove.com with any question, request or complaint about your personal information.

2. What we collect

We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or rent your personal information.

3. How we use it

Your residency classification is calculated automatically from your answers. It's an educational estimate to help you understand your situation, not a decision about you, and it has no legal effect. You can ask us how it was produced, and correct your answers by retaking the questionnaire.

4. AI features

Some tools (the assistant, the trip planner and visa briefings) use artificial intelligence. What you type into them is sent through Lovable's AI service to an AI provider, such as OpenAI or Google, to create a response. We don't store your chat messages. Please don't enter information you don't want to share, such as your Social Insurance Number, passport number or bank details. AI responses can be wrong, so always check important details.

5. Reports: what we keep and what we don't

6. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run Baddies Abroad, and only what each one needs:

Your browser also loads fonts from Google Fonts and destination photos from Wikipedia, so those services receive your IP address. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to a buyer if the business is ever sold, in which case this policy would continue to protect it.

7. Where your information is stored

Our service providers store and process information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. Information stored outside Canada is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessed by its courts or authorities. We choose providers that protect information to a standard comparable to Canadian law.

8. How long we keep it

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings, which deletes your profile, saved reports, uploaded photos and dashboard content. You can also withdraw consent to optional uses, such as the newsletter, at any time. To make any request, email info@repdbylove.com. We'll answer within 30 days.

If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.

10. Your browser

We use your browser's storage only for things the site needs to work: keeping you signed in, saving your questionnaire progress on your device, and remembering layout preferences. Clearing your browser data removes them.

11. Security

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, and each member can only access her own data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password. If a privacy breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we'll notify you and the privacy authorities as the law requires.

12. Age

Baddies Abroad is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We'll post any changes here with a new "Last updated" date, and email members about important changes.
